"My experience with LMS was truly transformative. I gained valuable insights into empowering other women, strengthening my leadership skills, and embracing new perspectives for both professional and personal growth. In addition to highlighting important aspects of women’s health, the seminar provided great opportunities to build stronger connections, leaving me with increased confidence and a broader professional network."
~Michele Lee

"Seventeen fortunate ladies had the opportunity to attend the 2025 Leadership Management Seminar hosted by the MSO of Delta Kappa Gamma at Eagle Ridge Conference Center this summer. The focus was on cultivating personal strength through fellowship, arts, and information. Each day was jam-packed - from early morning to late night. There were presentations about mental & physical health, self-defense, digital and handwritten communication, teamwork, and arts and crafts. Participants gained knowledge for personal and professional growth. Activities varied from individual to teamwork, seat work to movement. Love, friendship, compassion, and laughter permeated the Seminar from start to finish. The week culminated with a graduation ceremony and final presentations. The 2025 participants would like to sincerely thank the committee, mentors, presenters, and guests for the time spent planning, running, and implementing the Leadership program. 2025 LMS was a fabulous success!! Presenters & Mentors: Gay Saxon (Hinds Director of Training), Epic Martial Arts, Jamie Jordan (Blackledge Face Center), Melissa Sullivan (CPC of Simpson County), Randy McCoy (PERS), Madina Dixon (Ovation Wellness), Kay Collins, Lynn Holiday, Debbie Renfroe, Linda Hollingsworth, Janis McCoy, Angie Woodcock, Julia Boyd, Cheryl Saffle, Tracey Crawford, Betsy Sullivan, Joanna Alston, Melissa West, Lindsay Griffin, Beverly Hesterman, Stephanie Jones, Janice Garrett (LMS Chairman)."

"Hello, I am Glenda Hartfield, and I’ll be honest; I didn’t know if I would have the strength for another “professional development” experience after a particularly trying end of the school year, but Beverly Hesterman asked, and I couldn’t say no. The personality trait of not being able to say no was confirmed in one of our first activities - the DISC assessment. I am a Steady Relater personality whose negative trait is the inability to say no, so I work; I am a people pleaser, a workhorse who gets the job done. My second highest score was the Interacting Influencer. Both personalities thrive on relationships; teamwork, and people. I am so glad both my personalities were on the same page when Beverly asked me to go to the Leadership Management Seminar. I can’t imagine not having had the LMS experience. I met amazing women: roaring lions and playful pups, in addition to focused foxes and other steady workhorses who will enrich my life forever."
~Glenda Hartfield

"During our time at the 2025 MSO Leadership Management Seminar, we explored a variety of topics tailored to women. Our attendance at LMS gave us a whole new perspective on how to lead. We learned more about who we are and the power we have within to expand our horizons. The theme “Find Your Wings, Unleash Your Strength” set the tone for a journey that gave us the opportunity to do some personal reflection on the inner self. The information gained during the week and the activities we engaged in all focused on the potential each of us has as women and how it can be channeled into our personal and professional lives. It gave new meaning to the importance of being a part of DKG. It wasn’t necessarily new information; it was a mindset shift. Being a member of DKG matters. Each of us has individual differences. Collectively, we bring diversity, vision, and renewed vigor to DKG. We were all created for a purpose. The LMS experience helped us to refocus our priorities in life and realize that we have to look within ourselves to meet our personal and professional goals."
